The mid-point of this technology course has arrived, wow. I had no idea what to expect coming into this class, but I have already learned about a lot of useful ideas and techniques that I will continue to use even after the course is completed. I really like having a Google account and all of the perks that come with it: Google docs, presentations, the ability to work with and collaborate with others at the same time, blogspot, etc. I have really enjoyed the blogging aspect of the class...being able to choose a blog template and design, and writing down thoughts on the class.
I also did not know about WebQuests before the class started, but now I know that they exist and can be used to enhance certain class content materials. Being able to work with images from off the Internet, cameras, and personal collections is also a good skill to have and can be used in the classroom for various projects. I really enjoyed being able to make a picture slideshow set to music using Animoto. Overall, the tools that I've learned in this class are useful both in the classroom and out.
