Our final class assignment was to create a website for our future classrooms. Using Google's website creating tool, I was able to design a template for my site and add links for potential classroom activities and announcements as well as a link for resources and a short teacher bio. Designing a website is fun, but a little confusing at times. I kept forgetting how to edit my side bar and add more navigation links, and sometimes when I would create a new page, I wouldn't know exactly where I put it. Also, imagining myself as a teacher talking to students and parents through this website wasn't as easy as I thought it would be. However I'm glad we had the opportunity to create a classroom site as a basis for future teacher sites we may design. It is neat being able to make something that people can access to gain important information.
