I entered this technology class not really knowing what to expect. Was I going to relearn how to make a PowerPoint presentation, or create an excel spreadsheet? How would this class teach me about integrating technology? As the class draws to a close I realize that I'm leaving with several useful things, among them, knowing how to use the range of tools that Google has to offer and how to design and create a website and a blog. I've also learned about neat websites like Wordle, Glogster and Dabbleboard, as well as how to collaborate with others in making a wiki, how to incorporate technology in a lesson plan, how to find WebQuests, how to work with IMovie, how to use picture sharing sites such as Picasa, and how to make a quick movie slide-show using Animoto. I also relearned the steps one should take to determine whether a website is a legitimate source of information. What I learned in this class, I will be able to use both within my future classroom and without.
